Owners, Keith and Lisa Duerler, are a husband and wife physical therapy team with a unique approach to care. Active Rehab Physical Therapy has a diverse team of accomplished physical therapists. Keith's journey commenced at Lexington Clinic Sports Medicine Center, where he specialized in sports medicine and shoulder rehabilitation for 11 years. Under the guidance of renowned orthopedist Dr. Ben Kibler, he presented at symposiums nationwide and taught advanced rehabilitation techniques, even in Florence, Italy. Keith's dedication to excellence led to the creation of a golf fitness program and co-publishing two chapters in a medical textbook on physical therapy modalities. Seeking to provide more personalized care, he transitioned to private practice.

Lisa's journey took her to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital after her graduation in 1996. There, she cultivated extensive experience by specializing in assessing, treating, and managing vestibular disorders. Lisa attended the vestibular competency course at Emory where she received a certification in the treatment of vestibular/balance disorders. Her expertise includes proficiency in balance training, neurological disorders, and the evolving field of concussion treatment within the realm of physical therapy.

Together, Keith and Lisa have cultivated a private practice for the past 14 years that stands out in the surrounding area. They prioritize high-quality, one-on-one, patient-centered care and maintain excellent relationships and communication with local physicians and wellness professionals.
